How to Apply for NBI Appointment Online — Step by Step
Go to the NBI Portal
Visit nbiclear.ph and click on “Register” to start your application.
Create Your Account
Enter your valid email address and mobile number. Accept the terms, complete the CAPTCHA, and click Sign Up.
Verify via OTP
A 6-digit One-Time Password will be sent to your mobile. Enter it within 5 minutes to activate your account.
Fill Out Your Profile
Complete all personal details: full name, date of birth, civil status, address, and birthplace. Double-check before saving.
Select Your IDs
Choose two valid government-issued IDs you will bring to the branch on your appointment day.
Schedule an Appointment
Pick your preferred NBI branch, date, and time slot. Book early — slots fill up fast, especially in Metro Manila.
Pay the Fee Online
Pay ₱155 via GCash, Maya, 7-Eleven CLiQQ, Bayad Center, LandBank, or Credit/Debit Card. Save your reference number.
Visit the Branch & Get Clearance
On your appointment day, bring 2 valid IDs and your payment receipt. Biometrics and photo capture are done on-site. “No Hit” applicants receive clearance the same day.

Log in to your existing NBI account and select Renew Clearance. Eligible applicants may renew online with optional home delivery. First-time job seekers may qualify for a free NBI Clearance under RA 11261 by submitting a barangay certification at the branch.
